About

EDF power solutions is in the process of developing the Rich Road Solar+Storage Project in New York. The proposed 240 MW Solar + 20 MW storage project will be operational in 2028.

New York is leading the nation in renewable energy with a goal of using 70% renewables by 2030, and EDF power solutions is leading the solar energy charge with the Rich Road Solar and Storage Project (the Project).  A growing solution to energy demands, solar power is a safe, clean technology that New York residents and businesses want now.  The initiatives outlined in the State Energy Plan can be found here.

The Rich Road Solar+Storage Project is a proposed 240-megawatt alternating current (MWac) photovoltaic solar facility, which may include approximately 20 MW (80 MWh) of energy storage capacity, located in the Town of Canton, St Lawrence County, New York.
